It’s great to have this website available and a huge thanks Murray for setting it up. The following is a recent comment from Grahame Smail in reply to Martyn Fields concerns. I quote “We have no data on how people arrive at the playground and who might be using it.” You would think data gathering about who uses Dustin Park, how it has been used in the past and is being used today is crucial before any development gets the go ahead.

    Hi Glenwyn
Your comment is valid, but one I think that should be aimed at the Pisa District Community plan Group and not the Pisa Moorings Utilities society. But I could be wrong so you are welcome to correct me.
The link to there site is http://www.pisadistrict.wordpress.com and I will repeat your comment below so you can copy and paste it into that site if you agree with me.
    Cheers

I would like my comment to remain on the Utilities Society website. I believe that the LINZ reserve known as Dustin Park fronts the original Pisa Moorings subdivision and is part of the LINZ reserve that includes Brittany Cove, Wakefield Bay, and Clarks Reach. As our subs help pay to irrigate and mow Dustin Park I feel that it continues to remain under the Utilities Society umbrella, unless the council now care for all of it.

Dustin Park is becoming an absolute shambles,The most used asset on Dustin Park is the Boat ramp.Developements such as rocks and extra earth mounds that serve no purpose have been put in without any sort of commen sense plan for the future. The latest but greatest stuff up is the plan to put a cycle/walkway across the ramp and through the boat trailer park. What planet do these people come from!!!
